The fun for me in blogging is not trying to be a journalist but engaging others in ideas. Theoretically journalism is a one-way venue. Blogging, on the other hand, gains a life of its own in the comment threads. In light of that I think that blogging is somewhat about finding truth together in a way that is fair, beneficial, and builds friendships and goodwill.<br /><br />On a personal note, you Ed are one of the reasons that I blog and read blogs.
